Gosainkunda

Gosaikunda is an alpine freshwater oligotrophic lake in Nepal's Langtang National Park, located at an elevation of 4,380 m in the Rasuwa District.

Gosainkunda Lake is situated at an altitude of 4381m. Gosainkunda is a holy place for both Hindu & Buddhists. According to Hindu myths,” Gosainkunda is a sacred & mountain lake crested by Lord Shiva”.
