Kathmandu, which is the capital and also the largest city in Nepal with a population of around a million. Also known as the city of temples, the city stands at an elevation of approximately 1,400 meters (4,600 feet) above sea level. The valley was historically called the "Nepal Mandala" and has been the home of the Newar people, a cosmopolitan urban civilization in the Himalayan foothills. The city was the royal capital of the Kingdom of Nepal and hosts palaces, mansions, and gardens of the Nepalese aristocracy. It has been home to the headquarters of the South Asian Association For Regional Cooperation ( SAARC) since 1985. Today, it is the seat of the government of the Nepalese republic, established in 2008, and is part of the Bagmati Pradesh.

The city is considered the gateway to the Nepalese Himalayas and home to several world heritage sites: the Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath.

    When you arrive at the door of arrival terminal, you will see our airport representative smiling at you with a print having your name. Our representative transfers you the hotel in a luxurious coach. After check in to hotel, freshen you up and have some rest. Later on a professional tour guide visits you and briefs about major highlights of tour and give you permits of different places that you will visit tomorrow.     You will be served an American breakfast. The tour guide comes to receive you and takes you to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Swoyambhu, and Boudhanath. Kathmandu Durbar Square is situated at the heart of Kathmandu and is the hub of history, culture, and religion. The interesting thing to see here is artistic architecture woven in buildings and temples. Also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar and Basantapur Durbar Square, this place was the property of the royal palace before the unification of Nepal. The intricately carved wooden, metal and stone sculptures beautify the exterior and interior of the palace and temple. Guarded by a giant statue of Hanuman (Monkey God), Patan Durbar Square is situated at the center of the city of Lalitpur. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of its attraction is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided, Swoyambhu is an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city a very old religious site, this Buddhist complex has an iconic stupa, temples & many shrines and The Bouddha Stupa dominates the skyline, it is one of the largest stupas in the world Located about 11 km (6.8 mi) from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu. Afterward, drive back to the Hotel. Overnight in Hotel Dwarikas or similar category luxury hotel in Kathmandu.

    Activity: Bhaktapur Sightseeing and Drive to Dhulikhel
    Bhaktapur Sightseeing and Drive to Dhulikhel

    Early Morning Heli Flight to Tengboche and Breakfast at Everest Base Camp Overlooking World Tallest Mountain after Returning back from the Heli Flight you will visit UNESCO listed Durbar Squares of Bhaktapur on the way to Dhulikhel. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a combination of ancient arts, splendid architecture, unique wooden carving, pottery, and a distinct type of Newari culture. When you enter into the courtyard of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you will be spellbound by beautifully crafted palaces dated back to the Malla Period of Nepal. The main highlights are Nyatapola Temple, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Peacock Window, Fifty-Five Window Palace, and Golden Gate. Popular 55 window palace was built in 1472 AD and it is one of the oldest monuments of Nepal which depicts the craftsmanship of the Newari people. Similarly, five stories temple Nyatapola temple guarded by giant stone sculptures of gods and animals is also the finest example of pagoda style temple and stonework. Similarly, the peacock window and Golden gate are rare pieces of art.

    After exploring Bhaktapur Durbar Square, we drive to Dhulikhel, after having an unforgettable day tour in Bhaktapur we return hotel and take rest and Overnight in Hotel Dwarikas, at Dhulikhel.

    Activity: Drive back to Kathmandu
    Drive back to Kathmandu

    Today we get up early and enjoy beautiful Sunrise and panoramic view of snowcapped mountains like Ganesh, Lhotse Langtang, etc. After having a delicious breakfast we head towards a Buddhist monastery called NamoBuddha which takes about 45Min driving or you can hike towards the monastery which takes about 3Hrs and then return back to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is leisure or else you can go shopping, buying stuff. In the evening farewell dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant & Overnight in Hotel Dwarikas.

    Activity: Departure
    Departure

    Breakfast & check out from hotel, timely transfer to the airport for flight to your onward destination
