This is a short trip that lets you explore ancient temples and religious shrines of three medieval kingdoms of Nepal known as Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan. This trip takes you into a kind of mystical history where the past still remains alive in the present condition. These places reflect our culture, art, history created by the kings of past generations.

In Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, you will be taken for a visit to the holiest of Hindu shrine “Pashupatinath”. Pashupatinath temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the Trinity and the guardian (patron) deity of the Hindus. As you approach cremation areas of the temple, you will witness Hindu’s ritual of cremating a corpse. Tour to the Buddhist stupa at Boudhanath is another retreat that will be served to you. Another attractive place of this trip is a cultural tour to the major cultural heritages and temples in Bhaktapur and Patan and World heritage site listed by UNESCO.

  • Day 1
    Activity: Arrive Kathmandu

    When you arrive at the door of the arrival terminal, you will see our representatives from Going Nepal smiling at you with a print having your name. Our representative transfers you to the hotel in a luxurious coach. After check in to the hotel, freshen up and have some rest. Later on, a professional tour guide visits you and briefs you about the major highlights of the tour, and gives you permits to different places that you will visit tomorrow. Welcome Dinner with the Going Nepal team in a Typical Nepali restaurant or hotel and  Overnight in Hotel Dwarikas luxury hotel in Kathmandu or similar category hotel and be ready for tomorrow’s tour.


  • Day 2
    Activity: Full Day Kathmandu Sightseeing

    You will be served an American breakfast.  The tour guide comes to receive you and takes you to major sightseeing places inside Kathmandu valley like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Swoyambhu, and Boudhanath. The first stop will be  Kathmandu Durbar Square which is situated at the heart of Kathmandu and is a hub of history, culture, and religion. The interesting thing to see here is artistic architecture woven in buildings and temples. Also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar and Basantapur Durbar Square, this place was the property of the royal palace before the unification of Nepal. The intricately carved wooden, metal and stone sculptures beautify the exterior and interior of the palace and temple. Guarded by a giant statue of Hanuman (Monkey God), Patan Durbar Square is situated at the center of the city of Lalitpur. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of its attraction is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided, Swoyambhu is an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city a very old religious site, this Buddhist complex has an iconic stupa, temples & many shrines and The Bouddha Stupa dominates the skyline, it is one of the largest stupas in the world Located about 11 km (6.8 mi) from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu. Afterward, drive back to the Hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Hotel Dwarikas


  • Day 3
    Activity: Bhaktapur Sightseeing

    After breakfast, you will be taken to another one of the medieval kingdoms of Nepal ‘’Bhaktapur”. Spread over an area of 6.88 sq. km, 12 km south-east of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, or Bhadgaon showcases the splendor of the Golden Age of Nepali art and architecture. Built by King Anand Dev Malla in the 9th century, the city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. It has remained a model for heritage conservation since then. At the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you will find many fine examples of sculpture, woodcarving, and pagodas dedicated to different gods and goddesses – the Nyatapol & Dattaraya Temples, Golden Gate, Palace of 55 windows, etc. Later you can go for some shopping in Thamel or nearby area after coming back from Bhaktapur. In the evening Farewell dinner with Going Nepal representative in a Nepali restaurant or hotel. Overnight at the hotel Dwarikas and prepare for departure.


  • Day 4
    Activity: Departure Day

    Breakfast & check out from the hotel, timely transfer to the airport for flight to your onward destination.
